+ Ball Skills: Feel for attacking the ball at the catch point, plays through hands and attacks longer receivers into their tuck. Strong hands, attacks for playmaking angles to undercuts breaks. Can box out routes w/o getting overly aggressive.
+ FBI: Protects his leverage in press. Patient and quick feet that don’t cross in press. Down and distance awareness (exp: 3rd & short with a bunch, positions himself to jump a screen). Smooth communicator in zone w/ feel of zone holes. Expects to switch routes in goal line (some receivers were left uncovered) and flows into passing lanes.
+ Twitch & strength: Good plant and drive explosiveness. Physical in tight quarters, sheds blocks w/ force into contact. Capable of shutting down YAC w/ low attacks and built frame.
- Long speed and length: Struggles to maintain connection through complex routes w/ multiple breaks. (on the ground too often) Forced to overreact through stem, overrunning breaks. Limited length allows for inside releases, leans on physicality upfield, rather than matching lateral steps. Length can be attacked on fades, but knows how to play the ball.
- Stiffer hips: Transitions give up a step early in press (even w/ a great 10yd split). From off-coverage, plays w/ good pad level through the stem w/ some hip declaration, but loses some distance in transition leading to over windows. (gets forced to tug w/o help to maintain tight connection deep). From half-turn, leans on foot quickness over hip fluidity to flip and run.
- Tackling consistency: Lack of length and technique leads to, too many missed tackles (10 PFF 2022) Doesn’t attack the body of a ball carrier, attacks ankles.
Young, extremely productive, undersized outside cornerback (played both inside and outside) that will likely be match-up dependent there. Has desired awareness, press patience (for 2 way go), and strength to become a slot corner. Although, he may have issues w/ complex routes and will need to lean on coverage support. Fit for off-coverage and zone w/ press mixed him allowing him to play w/ leverage.

+ Great foot quickness in press, weave and cover up delayed releases
+ Very comfortable in off coverage, long speed with ease (Doesn’t over drop)
+ Great quickness to jump underneath routes from off-coverage (drags, slants)
+ High awareness of when to be aggressive underneath in zone, pattern matching in front of routes closing passing windows
+ Great explosiveness from balance in drives from zone coverage downhill
+ Athlete at the catch point to high point and play through hands (also shows vertical flying into passing lanes as a blitzer)
- Seeing the ball and man from off-coverage from pedal before transition, limits anticipation of breaks
- Pops up in press transition leaning forward, oftentimes overrunning breaking routes
- Stiff COD from trail
- Loses receivers when plays break down taking eyes off his man
