  • Displays consistent knee bend and ready hands

  • Doesn’t lose balance often- good anchor capability vs inside rush (played well vs David Ojabo in pass pro)

  • Quickly replaces hands in pads

  • Active 1/2 puncher

  • Struggles to get deep into pass sets quickly (will likely need TE help to vs speed rushers)

  • Can really bend at the knees/ not easy at height

  • Lightweight mover

  • Play strength is not there/ must add some mass

  • Upper body punches don’t pop

Run Blocking

  • 2nd level (6th OL)/ moves upfield well and comes to balance

  • Not a mover in the run game/ best fit will be on the move

Pass Protection

  • Worked a lot of quick sets in offense

  • Short quick steps in pass sets- rides w/ defenders

  • Mirror upside ability

  • Pass protection production: allowed 7 pressures all last season (PFF)

  • Get-off kick step needs coaching/ very minimal depth- jumps off w/ inside foot

  • Weight shifts vs speed rushers/ could open door for speed to power bull rushes- ends up hugging defender

  • Bully mentality

  • Terrific combine showing- easy mover (can get to sideline on WR screens)

Run Blocking

  • 18 Big time blocks (according to PFF Sewell 13 in 2019)

  • Moves well outside of tackle box upfield/ used as a pulling lineman to second level

  • Big time finisher/ drives defenders through the whistle (first play vs Clemson) looks for pancakes

  • Upper body pop on defenders working upfield punch

Pass Protection

  • Strong grip tough to disengage if latched on

  • Flexible knee bend can make him a strong anchor in pass pro

  • Pass sets are not polished/ often oversets opening up inside pass rush moves (feet get really close)

  • Hands shoot late/ more of a catcher in pass pro- will be moved losing control early (works in close quarters/ not much distance)

  • Heavy hands

  • Has demonstrated nimble feet that can translate to zone rushing scheme

Run Blocking

  • Has pulled to second level/ Uses big arms to move defenders

  • Moves well outside of tackle box- building up speed

  • Open field agility is lacking to redirect/ balance

  • Average power at point of attack- doesn’t win leverage or pop off the line upfield

Pass Protection

  • Catches defenders who turn their back to him (spin)/ finishes

  • Depth in pass sets/ first step is minimal- best suited for quick passing attack

  • Struggles to sync hands and feet together

  • Tons of pure power in anchor/ tough to bull rush back

  • Can match-up w/ wide alignments and get depth to set pocket

  • Powerful and consistent hand strikes

  • Weight leans over his toes in pass protection/ issues occur with line games- to recover

  • Speed counters may be an issue

Offensive Tackles

  • Violation of team rules w/ LSU transferred

  • Physical through the whistle

  • Length/Size great

Run Blocking

  • Impressive pulling potential good straight line speed

  • First step is below average as a zone blocker (beat to spot vs Jordan Davis)

  • More of a waist bender than knee bender working to get under defenders

  • Loses balance through base sets/ gets very wide

Pass Protection

  • Can really pack some power in his punch w/ a good base

  • Fun screen and 2nd level user

  • Late getting set in base and hands

Andrew Stueber Michigan 6”7 338lbs

Athlete/Mean Streak

  • Moved around a lot at Michigan (LT, RT. RG) mid-game

Run Blocking

  • Carries powerful punch w/ running start to second level

  • Shown drive in run game off the line- ability get win leverage under defensive lineman (6yd line vs Wisconsin)

  • Not very much agility at 2nd level

  • Power run blocker not zone/ best suited for gap scheme

Pass Protection

  • Can gain acceptable depth in pass sets on first step

  • Works to not get flat footed looking for work in pass protection

  • Strong anchor if arms get extension

  • Active hands in pass protection- works to keep chest clean

  • Leaves inside rush open

  • Heavy upper body/ can be tipped back w/ a clean chest punch

  • Shifty speed rushers- was slid pass pro help

  • Feet are a little slow to react/ feet start chasing

  • Feet can get caught together in slide/ Can be sidestepped lunging

  • Played Center in 2019/ Left Tackle the past 2 season- showed versatility at East/West Shrine Bowl

  • Moves low to ground

  • Undersized measurables for tackle- weight, arm length, height (forces close to defenders)

  • Should add some strength for NFL has length to do so (looks smaller than size on film)

Run Blocking

  • Great feel for run angles to open lanes

  • Light mover- explosive kick slide step to get depth smoothly/ works to the second level nicely

  • Not a run grader- moves well to second level/ but not a people mover

  • Was walled off by Jermaine Johnson/ Length

Pass Protection

  • Played well vs pass rusher Jermaine Johnson (FSU)

  • Active hands in pass protection- fundamentaly sound pass protector- single hand strikes (has reps blocking 2 players at once)

  • 36 starts in last 3 seasons/ Command in pass protection sets

  • Eyes are always moving- head on swivel for stunts/ delayed rushers/ High IQ takes inside rusher

  • Anchor strength will be a question at current size for Tackle

  • Gets top heavy in pass protection/ throws off balance (not bending knees and moving)

Rasheed Walker Penn State 6”6 320lbs

Offensive Tackles

Athlete/Mean Streak

  • Plays w/ good knee bend- consistent through game

  • Nice frame/length/upper body power

Run Blocking

  • (Small clap to keep hands inside close to goal line)

  • Solid downhill drive when feet keep up/ more of a positioning lineman to wall off

  • Can be unable to close space between defender run blocking

Pass Protection

  • Adequate depth ability/ upside balance and anchor

  • Feet reset well after contact

  • Finished vs Iowa/ balance

  • Works to re-position hands in pass protection on initial misses

  • Competitive at good leverage points w/ hands (wrist/elbow) signs of vet nuance

  • First step upfield get-off limited/ can be forced to reach and get outside pads/ Can also leads to over-extensions

  • Feet stop walling off defenders w/ one arm- balance can be lost

  • Initial hand strikes are inconsistent (gets high)
