6034 221 (33 1/2 Arms- 9 3/8 Hands) 4.38 40

  • + Good quickness upfield from catch into run (mid screens)

  • + Powerful blocker

  • - Not as savvy with his hands/ can get pressed out at catch point

  • - Keeping himself clean out of breaks

Antoine Green North Carolina

6016 199 (32 Arms- 9 Hands) 4.47 40

  • + Long arms show up with receptions away from body

  • + Good second gear with route pacing to win overtop vs half-turn

  • + Strong hands away from body improves RAC potential

  • - Release package is missing creativity, goes to skip release or speed release

18.6 y/r in 2022 and 19.7 y/r in 2021

Jadon Haselwood Arkansas (Oklahoma)

6022 215 (31 1/4 Arms- 10 Hands) 4.66 40/37’ vert/6.98 3 cone (22yrs)

  • + RAC upside: Catch to run quickness and awareness is where he wins. (Fast reactor) Body control to stop and start, uses a powerful and effective stiff arm, and competitive toughness that can finish w/ force when he wants to.

  • + 5 Star athlete: Big mitts at the catch point for reliability underneath or attacking the middle of the field. (drags, slants, crossers). Active hands through the route vs press and at the break point, works to create space late sitting in zone holes to attack the ball.

  • + Physical ability: Played w/ the demeanor to handle slot work at the next level. Feisty blocking effort and impact upside to create movement and sustain blocks. The switch didn’t always seem to be flipped on, but it was in him. (Stuck his nose in to chip DEs, used out of backfield and in a TE alignments as a lead blocker).

  • - Route development: Extremely limited route tree work. In and out of the lineup (both Arkansas and Oklahoma). Majority of work last year came from the slot. Not asked to work multiple cuts, route running is not crisp at this stage. Bowls over cornerbacks w/o ideal route control, pacing, and feel to consistently create leverage and separation on an island.

  • - Suddenness: Threatening acceleration and burst wasn’t noticeable. Play speed seemed better than his testing numbers, but the lack of twitch w/ the ball shut down carries early, as well as made it difficult to push cornerbacks out of a press alignment.

Former 5 star recruit that didn’t produce at that level in college. (Torn ACL w/ Oklahoma) Rotated in and out, yet found a bigger role this past year w/ Arkansas in the slot. This move seemed to highlight his physicality and hide the inconsistencies as a route runner. Jadon needs to keep his aggressive switch flipped on and improve in contested situations (primarily red-zone) to win on fade routes against smaller match-ups. ST expierence is lacking, but if he can stick there, there is upside as a youthful , middle field big slot.

Xavier Hutchinson Iowa State

6017 207 (31 Arms- 9 Hands)

Charlie Jones Purdue (Iowa/Buffalo)

5113 176 (31 5/8 Arms- 9 Hands) 4.43 40/36 1/2 vert/13BP/1.51 10yd (24.4yrs)

  • + Route Savvy: Feel for space and the skillset to separate in a deep route tree. Uses nifty stem to create route leverage and sets up release to unlock spacing. Posses nasty sink at the top of routes w/ effective/clever hand swipes and crisp cuts. Keeps working for separation through the rep, uses his eyes really well w/ high awareness to attack the zone consistently. (Change of pace and head nods). Although, Jones does give off coverage corners break tells changing speeds to cut.

  • + Great hands: Consistent and versatile pass catching technique for an array of entry points. Great concentration through chaos and attacks the ball in traffic (sensing defenders). Plucks passes w/ little to no ball movement and plus ball tracking at the third level. (22 contested catches - 1st)

  • + 0-60: Accelerates in a hurry, gets up to top end speed w/ a clean release for effectiveness attacking off-coverage and as soon as the ball touches his hands. (Was used on screens and ball carrier work).

  • - Route strength: Pops up working up through the third level on vertical routes. Can be boxed out at the catch-point against more physical corners (Deonte Banks) and too often is squeezed towards the sideline. Sub-par decisiveness and suddenness against the press, fails to pry open cornerbacks hips and can get knocked off his route on quick hitters currently.

  • - Make you miss and blocking support: Little creativity w/ the ball outside of quick acceleration. Doesn’t shed tacklers or evade tacklers in a phone booth. Would love to see more impact as a lead blocker (screens) and seems content flowing out of bounds rather than creating extra yards.

Transfer from Iowa that took off in his first season w/ Purdue. (110rec for 1300yds). A return specialist background which could add ST value. An older prospect that may have saved his draft profile w/ his decision to transfer. Became O’Connell’s go to target w/ excellent hands and exciting juice to become a consistent threat through the first 2 levels. His route strength and press beaters need to find more consistency.
